Rajesh Talwar praying for Aarushi: Nupur

Even as a CBI team reached the Durani household on Tuesday, Dr Nupur Talwar visited husband Rajesh Talwar, who is still in Dasna Jail in Ghaziabad.

Hurrying out of the main entrance of the jail, along with Rajesh's elder brother Dinesh and another relative, Nupur Talwar told mediapersons, "He cries all day and prays for Aarushi."

According to Dinesh Talwar, Dr Rajesh Talwar spent most of his time in jail praying for justice. Dinesh added that the CBI was yet to inform the family of what course of investigations they were following. In Noida, meanwhile, a CBI team reached the house of Duranis, forensic experts and a camera crew in tow, for yet another exhaustive search of Rajkumar—the Duranis' domestic help's— room.

Later, addressing mediapersons at CBI headquarters in Delhi, CBI joint director Arun Kumar said that, on June 13, certain objects had been seized from Rajkumar's room in sector 56, Noida. These had been sent for forensic examination. As for the murder weapon, Kumar said that a Khukhari was recovered from Dr Rajesh Talwar's compounder Ksrishna's room at L-14 a couple of days ago. This had also been sent for forenic examination.

After three days of rooftop and drain searches, the CBI did not repeat the exercise on Tuesday. The agency remained totally focused on investigations surrounding Rajkumar for the better part of Tuesday.
